Silodosin

URYDOS-4 contains Silodosin 4 mg, a selective alpha-1A adrenergic receptor antagonist that relaxes smooth muscle in the prostate and bladder neck, improving urine flow and reducing symptoms of lower urinary tract obstruction.

It is indicated for the treatment of symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), helping relieve urinary frequency, urgency, weak stream, and incomplete bladder emptying. Its high selectivity for alpha-1A receptors allows effective symptom control with a lower risk of blood pressure-related side effects compared to non-selective alpha blockers.
