Losartan Potassium 50mg + Amlodipine 5mg

Amlozaar is a fixed-dose antihypertensive combination containing Losartan 50 mg (an angiotensin II receptor blocker) and Amlodipine 5 mg (a long-acting calcium channel blocker). This dual-mechanism therapy provides complementary blood pressure control by reducing vascular resistance through blockade of the renin–angiotensin system and by relaxing vascular smooth muscle.

The combination is indicated for the management of Hypertension, particularly in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with single-agent therapy. By combining two proven antihypertensive agents in a single tablet, Amlozaar supports improved adherence, convenient dosing, and sustained 24-hour blood pressure control.
