Telmisartan

Arbitel-40 Tablets contain 40 mg of Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for the management of hypertension.

Telmisartan selectively blocks angiotensin II (AT1) receptors, resulting in vasodilation, reduced aldosterone secretion, and lowered systemic blood pressure. It provides long-acting 24-hour blood pressure control, supporting convenient once-daily dosing and improved treatment adherence.

Arbitel-40 may be used as monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensive agents in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with a single agent. It is also commonly considered in patients who cannot tolerate ACE inhibitors.

For use under medical supervision. Renal function, volume status, and concomitant medications should be assessed before initiation and during therapy.
